The5thSHNUYoungTeachers’EducationContestcametoanendonNovember4th.Thecontestinvolves56youngteachersfromvariousSHNUcollegestocompeteforthefinal.Also,35SHNUexpertsandprofessorsactasjudgesandSHNUPartySecretaryTengJianyongwereonthescene.Thecontestfallsintodifferentcategories:humanities,socialsciences,politicaltheories,naturalandfundamentalsciences,appliednaturalsciences,andnon-linguisticforeignlanguagegroups.Thecontentincludeseducationdesign,classroomteachingandeducationreflections.

Recently,29SHNUacademicprogramsofphilosophicalandsocialscienceshavebeenapprovedtoreceivefundsfrommunicipalgovernment,including21generalprogramsand8youthprograms.In2018,altogether370academicprogramsofitskindhavebeenapproved,including239generalprogramsand131youthones.Ithasbeenthebestrecordever,intermsofnotonlythenumberofprograms,butalsotherateofsuccess.
