The Founding Ceremony of SHNU College of Chemistry and Material Sciences and 1st Academic Forum were held at No. 1 Hall of Conference Center on Xuhui Campus of SHNU on November 24th. It was attended by SHNU President Zhu Ziqiang and SHNU Vice President Ge Weihua, and representatives from Fudan University, Shanghai University of Electric Power, Tongji University and East China Normal University.
A promotion clip was played at the ceremony to commemorate the historic process of 64 years since the opening of SHNU Department of Chemistry. SHNU President hoped that more students would stick to the hardline of academic research and moral merits.
