The international final of WRO (World Robot Olympiad) was held at Chiang Mai City of Thailand from November 16th to 18th. The contest is regarded as a grand show for young robot fans. It aims at developing skills to consider and solve the problems of robots. About 486 teams from 63 countries and regions competed for it this year.
Four SHNU students from College of Information and Mechanical Engineering ranked 13th at the final after over 9 months of ardent preparations.
Starting in 2004, World Robot Olympiad has developed to a truly global competition. WRO tournaments are organized in more than 60 countries.
