On the afternoon of March 21st, our school held a comprehensive job fair for 2024 graduates to promote employment at the western playground of Xuhui campus. The SHNU Principal Yuan Wen, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee and Vice Principal Zhu Huijun, and SHNU Vice Principal Chen Heng were present and had friendly conversations with employers and graduates.
As the first comprehensive job fair for spring recruitment of 2024 graduates, this job fair is divided into 9 areas according to different industry categories, attracting 267 enterprises and institutions to participate, and bringing a total of 1,017 recruitment positions and job demands, more than 6,500 employment demands, and involving more than 3,000 students, more than 7,000 interviewers to participate.
The job fair promotes better supply-demand coordination between graduates and employers, and guide graduates to engage in practical actions of job seeking, career selection, and aspirations to succeed.
It is reported that since February, SHNU has held one comprehensive job fair, one specialized job fair, and more than 20 on campus special lectures. In future work, our school will carry out special actions such as visiting enterprises and expanding job opportunities, establishing ties with secondary colleges, organize specialized and refined small-scale job fairs, solidly promote the coverage of recruitment activity participants, and deliver targeted job information.
