SHNU: Three teachers from the College of Physical Education of SHNU attended the 2008 Olympic Scientific Congress that was held in Guangzhou from August 1 to 4, and read their papers there. The congress, which was themed “Science of Gym and a Harmonious Society in the 21st Century”, was a scientific congress on the largest scale in the world in the spirit of the Olympic Games. The three papers submitted and read by SHNU teachers were entitled: Building an admission system for China’s sports fitness industry, Olympic sponsorship to China’s entrepreneurs: Pie or pit Discussion on China’s reform in gymnastics management system under state power centralizing system. The 2008 Olympic Scientific Congress has made an attempt to integrate theory into practice and sponsor young scholars from developing countries that were engaged in the physical science. 2,000 scholars and experts from over 70 countries and regions gathered in Guangzhou International Conference Center to discuss medical, cultural and social-psychological issues related to gym. （Edited by Jessica） |
