July 17th is only 22 days away from the opening ceremony of Beijing Olympics, and 51 days from the Beijing Paralympic Games. The volunteers of Shanghai Area shall greet their training sessions in SHNU. Zhao Wen, Vice Mayor of Shanghai City, Head of Olympics Leading Group for Shanghai Area, and Party Secretary of Shanghai Youth League, attended the opening session of the training with leaders from Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Sports, and Shanghai Office of Beijing Olympics Football Games. They were cordially met by SHNU President Li Jin and vice Presidents Jiang Weiyi and Wang Lianhua. According to statistics, these 100 volunteers have been winnowed from over 18,000 candidates, among whom 80 are for Olympics and 20 for Paralympic Games.
