SHNU: On August 1, officials from Shanghai Education Commission and the Municipal Science and Technology Commission made a survey of the development of SHNU on many aspects. SHNU leaders including Ruan Xingshu, Jiang Weiyi, Huang Gang, etc., and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting. On behalf of the university, SHNU Party Secretary Zhou Honggang reported the work of SHNU on 5 aspects: Party building, objective of the university running, restructuring of the pattern of disciplines, construction of the team of talents, and exiting problems. While affirming the achievements SHNU had made, the inspecting officials inquired about the disciplinary construction and other problems about SHNU and gave a lot of valuable advice as to how to further develop the university.
