On June 4th , the Loving Funds Committee decided to earmark ￥53,000 to subsidize 53 SHNU working staff including retirees, with each receiving ￥500 or ￥1,000.
The fund has been raised in the aim of helping those who have been stricken by disasters, severe diseases or who can hardly make both ends meet to ride through difficulties. Initiated from donation of 1 day salary from each and every SHNU staff, the Loving Funds have amounted to ￥3.09 million, with over 50 teachers benefiting from the total of ￥73,500 in the first half of this year.
