SHNU: 25 students and 1 teacher majoring in Cooking and Cuisine Management of the Institute of Tourism，SHNU would start to work in the International Broadcast Centre (IBC)) and Main Press Centre (MPC). They arrived in Beijing on May 25 and would provide 24-hour cooking service in shifts during the Olympic Games. It was the volunteers’refined cooking skills, fluent foreign languages, and friendly cooperation with their fellow workers that impressed the service partners who would provide Beijing Olympics with food service. “We are proud of being able to provide food service to guests from all over the globe,”said the volunteers. “We will live up to the university’s expectations and come back with honour.” (Edited by Jessica) |
