SHNU: On March 26, in the 2007 commendation meeting of “Oriental Rostrum” co-sponsored by Publicity Department of Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Shanghai Social Sciences Association, our university was awarded the excellent host unit for four years on end. The Institution of Tourism of our university also won this award for their effective work in organizing the “Oriental Rostrum• Shanghai Tourism Rostrum”. As a host unit of “Oriental Rostrum”, our university has been successful in improving the comprehensive qualities of students, creating harmonious cultural atmosphere and meeting the spiritual needs of Shanghai citizens through well-selected high-quality lectures.
