SHNU: The Creative Platform in the Design Factory of our university, which integrates with enterprise, academic and research resources, was founded on March 26. The Creative Platform of our university was the first of its kind that has been founded in Shanghai. On this platform, cooperation between academic institutions and enterprises can be realized: the university can offer talents and research resources in wide areas, while enterprises can obtain creative ideas. Over 10 enterprises have signed contracts with the Platform. Yongjian Designing Competition on Environment-friendly Bags, the first program of cooperation between enterprises and the creative factory, was announced in the ceremony. Though the concept of creative industry has a history of only 6 years in China, it has developed fast and become an important element to strengthen the competitiveness of Shanghai. The SHNU Creative Platform will invite many world-renowned figures in creative designing to deliver lectures to relevant teachers and students so as to promote the level of creation.
