SHNU：On March 25, all the student political advisors of our university received training in developing abilities to do academic research. Wu Dekui, secretary general of the ideological and political research association of Shanghai Science and Education System, and Cao Ninghua, executive chief editor of Journal of Ideological & Theoretical Education, were invited to deliver speeches. Wu’s report was entitled Several Trends in Present Researches into Ideological and Political Education, in which he stressed the importance of mental health education research done by student political advisors and suggested that they do research in line with their work. Cao analyzed problems that tend to occur in the scientific research of the advisors and exchanged views with them on the orientation, perspectives and requirements of academic research.
