SHNU: On April 29th, American Film Nights, one of the 2009 SHNU International Arts Festival series, was held in SHNU’s Foreign Languages College. Lu Jianfei, SHNU Vice President, and Laura Anderson, Vice Consul of American Embassy in Shanghai, were present at the ceremony.
The film cast on the American Film Nights was Erin Brockovich, starred by Julia Roberts. It stages a sweeping success with a proud 250 million box revenues. The theme and roles of the film were discussed by the students that night. (Editted by Rebecca) |
