Recently, the 2023 Key Programs Bidding List of Shanghai People’s Government Policy-making Consulting Research has been released: Wang Chuanjiang from SHNU School of Business, has his programs approved in the list. This marks the second research theme of government policy-making consulting research in the recent three years, and also the only approved research theme of its kind of SHNU this year.
As Shanghai is moving towards the goal of building an outstanding global city, this would bring up the needs of upgrading and accelerating the development of high-level service industry. Wang’s program focuses on the suggestions and solutions to the issues of improving Shanghai’s higher-standard service industry.
Since his teaching in SHNU School of Business in 2019, Dr. Wang mainly studies urban economy and old-age pension finance. He has hosted various state-level or ministry-funded programs, and published over 10 academic papers in Urban Studies, China Soft Science and Collected Essays on Finance and Economics.
