On April 27th, the 2023 Awarding Ceremony of Shanghai May 1st Labor’s Prize was held at Shanghai Exhibition Center. The Joint Research Laboratory of Resource Chemistry won the title Shanghai Workers’ Pioneer.
As the first batch of joint international labs approved by China Ministry of Education, the SHNU Joint Research Lab of Resource Chemistry boasts a large number of outstanding talents and pools around optimal research resources home and abroad. Based on strategies of ecological civilization and efficient energy uses, the lab orients towards bio-mimetic catalysis and environmental pollution control. Adopting a talent mode of 1+2+x (one year of learning at SHNU, two years of learning at National University of Singapore and Princeton University in the US, followed by one year of learning at an overseas research institute or lab). By adopting a whole-chain pattern of creative talents, the lab has won the first prize of Shanghai Natural Sciences, and National Excellent Works of Video Clips on Science Education.
