On April 15th, the Opening Ceremony of 2023 International Chinese Teachers’ Abilities Upgrading Program of Malaysia was held. Jiang Mingjun, SHNU Vice President and Lim Ai Lian, Vice President of University of Malaya delivered speeches at the ceremony. It was also attended by representatives from SHNU Division of International Affairs, Deans of Confucius College of University of Malaya and over 150 international Chinese language teachers of Malaysia.
It is expected that this Chinese language teachers’ abilities upgrading program could provide them with professional instructions by enriching their educational theories and promoting their teaching standards so as to strengthen exchanges between China and Malaysia.
The Graduation Certificates were conferred to the approved members. As a cooperative program between SHNU and Confucius College of University of Malaya, the first program wound up in 2022 and received popularity from students. This year, based on the actual needs for Chinese teachers in Malaysia, experienced experts were employed to offer efficient learning resources. Until now, about 200 Malaysian teachers who teach Chinese language entered for this program.
