Recently, the winners’ list of International Platinum Originality Graphic Design Contest for University Students was launched and one silver prize, one outstanding award, 3 shortlisted prize and 1 excellent instructor’s prize were awarded to SHNU students and teachers.
The SHNU silver belongs to Image Information on Polluted Water Disposal and Related Chemical Experiments, which was designed by Weng DongPing and supervised by Chen Jing and WU Fan; another SHNU candidate was awarded for designing Reflector, which was designed by Feng Lin and supervised by Jiao Yue.
Sponsored by China Academy of Arts and Artists’ Association of Zhejiang Province, the annual Platinum Originality has been held for 23 years and aimed at design majors of university students home and abroad. The contest this year received about 18,704 works from 10, 524 candidates from 17 countries and regions. Finally 8 golds, 12 silvers and 18 bronzes have been awarded, along with other prizes.
The contest is also recognized by various design institutes and universities as one of the most standard and authoritative design competitions.
