Recently, SHNU team led by Deng Qinghai, professor from SHNU College of Chemistry and Materials, published at Angewandte Chemie International Edition (IF = 16.8) with the title Simple and Versatile Nitrooxylation: Noncyclic Hypervalent Iodine Nitrooxylating Reagent.
The paper proposed a new method of developing a new Noncyclic Hpervalent Iodine Nitrooxylating Reagent so as to prepare for safer, greener and more efficient nitric esters. Cheng Xuan, a doctoral degree candidate of SHNU is the first author and SHNU is the only correspondence institute and SHNU professor Deng Qinghai is the correspondence author.
With nitrates as the ingredients, Professor Deng’s team integrated a stable and adjustable nitrate esterifying reagent by which it could also be used in a series of medicines and natural productions.
It has been sponsored by National Natural Science Foundation, International Joint Laboratory on Resource Chemistry SHNU-NUS-PU, SHNU and Shanghai Shuguang Plan Programs, etc. The research team can be reached by clicking https://www.x-mol.com/groups/qhdeng and the paper can be accessed by https://doi.org/10.1002/anie.202302521.
