Introduction:
Alexander Shelivanov was born in 1979 in Kazan, the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. He graduated from the Moscow State Gnessin Academy of Music, where he studied under Professor Vyacheslav Semenov. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Art Committee of the International Accordion Union, the Head of the Folk Music Department at the Moscow State Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, the Art Director of the Russian Public Competition for Bayan and Accordion, and also holds a professorship in the Erasmus+ European exchange program.
