Shanghai Mayor Grants Permits to 50 Expo Volunteers from SHNU

20 Apr 2010

SHNU: On April 17th, 14 days away from the opening ceremony of Shanghai World Exposition, 50 volunteer representatives attended the ceremony to swear into the post.
The participants were students from SHNU College of Humanities and Communications, College of Business, and College of Finance. One of the students received the work permit from Han Zheng, the mayor of Shanghai.
These volunteers have been chosen from 610,000 people, and the selection process involves over 30,000 interviews.
Those who survived the interview to serve the 2010 expo sang in chorus “the World”, led by two China’s singing stars when the ceremony drew to the end.
