The Multi-culture Festival hosted by Culture Department and Sports Department of the University of Botswana (UB) has been held recently. The Confucius Institute (CI) took active part in the festival and presented rich Chinese culture to teachers and students from different cultural background by brilliant shows and programs, which further raised CI’s fame and influence.  At the festival, the open Chinese classes were set for CI as a warm-up program. Four teachers respectively presented their distinctive Chinese teaching methods in classes and taught some basic Chinese expressions. The Multi-culture Festival was an annual event in UB, and CI plays a crucial part in it.
