On 13 February, a Spring Festival Party was held at SHNU Confucius Institute of Fukuyama University for both Chinese and Japanese students. Unlike previous Spring Festival parties which themed on making dumplings and paper-made window decorations, this time there were a variety of interesting board games at the party. Before the Spring Festival, Hanban had posted various chesses and intelligence toys to Confucius Institutes all over the world. Though some Japanese students had never played these games before, they soon became absorbed in them after they were taught by Chinese students. They chatted and played together, fully intoxicated in the Chinese New Year’s atmosphere. Parties for the interaction between Chinese and Japanese students have been held four times and are joyfully welcomed by all students. (Translated by Shao Suya) |
