News conference of China’s Most Influencial Academic Journals was held in the National Convention Center in Beijing. The conference released 418 kinds of journals selected as China’s international most influencial journals, among which 350 kinds are scientific journals and 68 humanities and social science journals. Among the humanities and social science journals, the journal, Tourism Science, of the Tourism College, SHNU, ranked 54th and was rewarded the title, “2012 China’s Outstanding Academic Journal of International Influence”. The conference was held by CAJEPH of China Academic Journal, Library of Tsinghua University, and Assessment and Research Center of China's Scientific Literature. Over 2,000 representatives from General Administration of Press and Publication, Publicity Department, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science and Technology, China Association for Science and Technology attended the conference. Deputy Administrator of the General Administration of Press and Publication, Wu Shulin, delivered an important speech at the conference. He believed that the first selection and the release of the China’s international influencial academic journals was a great, good and practical event, which would have deep and everlasting influence on the international spread of China’s scientific research achievement and the construction of a powerful cultural country. （Translated by Xia Tian） |
