2012 International Symposium on East Asia Confucianism Held in SHNU

SHNU: Sponsored by SHNU Institute of Philosophy and International Institute of Confucianism, the 2012 International Symposium on East Asia Confucianism was held in SHNU, involving over 50 scholars from South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Canada, Malaysia, Vietnam and China to attend.
The symposium aims at promoting understanding among various eastern Asian countries, facilitating the overall development of Confucianism, and providing an academic platform for direct dialogue and critical research.
Lasting a day and a half, the symposium includes 4 theme speeches and 8 branch sites. There are three topics, namely, East Asian Confucian Classics, Neo-Confucianism and East Asian Cultural Exchanges.
