SHNU Foreign Teacher Steven Wins Magnolia Silver Award

        The Shanghai Municipal Government presented Steven Weathers, SHNU foreign teacher from Xiejin Film and Arts College, with its prestigious 2012 Magnolia Silver Award. The Magnolia Silver Award honors foreign citizens who live and work in Shanghai and have made significant contributions to the city’s economic development, social progress and international relations and cooperation. The Award was set up by the Shanghai Municipal Government in 1989 and remains the highest recognition for foreign citizens living in Shanghai。
      Steven introduced at the awarding ceremony his fond love for Shanghai and his experience in SHNU from the perspectives of delicious foods, beautiful sceneries and graceful lifestyles.
It is an annual award approved by the Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal Government.
     This year, about 58 candidates from 17 countries rivaled for the prizes.
