Approved by relevant department, 20 students from different colleges of SHNU are recruited as new army men. On December 14th, a farewell party was held for them, attended by leaders of SHNU, and representatives of different colleges, the new recruits’ parents and the soldiers just retired from the army this year.
Speeches were delivered and enlisting notices conferred to the enlisted students at the farewell party. Some soldiers who were Communist Party members and set military award records shared with others their experiences of being outstanding soldiers. The fresh recruits will leave for the army on December 15 and 16 respectively. |
