A granting ceremony was held recently, and 30 students from each college of Shanghai Normal University has been awarded a total amount of RMB 60, 000 (about US$7,000) of scholarship and stipends. It includes such programs as the “Shi Yi” Scholarship, Senior Leaders’ Stipends, and Fan Yizhong Subsidies. Jiang Weiyi, Vice Party Secretary and Vice President of SHNU, and heads of relevant departments as well as donators attended the ceremony.
The name list of those students sponsored was declared at the meeting, and the funds and certificates were handed to the students on site, followed by the representative speeches and exchanges of views. |
