Approved by the leading group of National Planning on Philosophical and Social Science, an official notice is issued that the Study of Talks at Yan'an Forom on Literature and Art has been granted a fund of RMB80, 000 (about $10,000), which is an epoch-making breakthrough in the programsof its kind.
This program, run by the Planning Office of National Philosophical and Social Science, was founded in 2004, aiming at further bringing into play the leading role of national social and scientific funds in facilitating the prosperity of social sciences in China. So far, this program has ranged from world history and foreign literature at the very beginning, to six disciplines such as Chinese history etc. It is one of the main categories of national scientific funds, acting as an equal academic part with other programs of national funds. |
