Zhou Honggang, Party Secretary of our university, recently led a delegation to visit Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Sydney University, Queensland University and Griffith University of Australia.
During the visit, Zhou, on behalf of SHNU, signed an agreement of all-round cooperation with AUT. Also, the visiting group compared notes with leaders from the Law School, Tourism College, and Senior Water Resources Management Center of Queensland University, in terms of students exchange, teachers cultivation and cooperation promotion, and so on. Concerning Zhou’s visit in Griffith, the delegation consulted with the vice president, heads from the Tourism College, International Exchanges Office, College of Technology and Engineering, and the Law School. Both sides extended their cooperation initiatives of expanding cooperative realms as in environment and law on the basis of the agreement signed last year. On November 24, the delegation met some members from the alumni association of Australia in Sydney. Zhou briefed on the development of SHNU in recent years, and hoped that these graduates could return to Shanghai to refresh their memories of the Alma Mater; on the other hand, SHNU calls for international cooperation and exchanges which demands the support and efforts from all SHNU alumni. |
