On the evening of October 31, a Jazz quartet by Swedish musicians on SHNU International Arts Festival was presented at the Jiaoyuanlou Building. Vice president Lu Jianfei, representatives from the Swedish Consulate and SHNU International Exchange Office were on the scene among the audience.
Twins guitar band from Gothenburg and Jazz quartet of Jonas Kullhammar from Stockholm feasted everyone’s eyes on their stock-in-trades, with their occasional impromptu gimmicks arousing waves of laughter from all. The concert drew to an end in bubbling and friendly air. The two guitar-players had won the championship and popularity award at International Twins Guitar Competition (13ème Concours International de Guitare en Duo), and had thus been invited to play chief in a mega-documentary by Swedish National TV Station. Worth mentioning, Jonas Kullhammar was awarded the Best Jazz Musician for two consecutive years. |
