TCFL Teacher Returns from Thailand to Share His Teaching Experience

SHNU, Mar 14: The Colleges of Humanities and Communications held a lecture entitled Being Abroad?Exchanging the Experience of Teaching Chinese in Thailand. Liang Liang, graduated in 2006 with his degree in Chinese Language and Literature, shared with students his teaching and living experience in Thailand for nearly six months.
        Liang Liang showed pictures of teaching and life in the Thai school, topics covering the school facilities, his teaching experience, characteristics of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (TCFL), the type of teachers favored by foreign students, and his expectation for the future Chinese teachers. During the lecture, he cited interesting things that happened to him and compared the difference in teaching Chinese at home and abroad. As a member of the first group of Chinese teachers sent abroad by SHNU, Liang would come back in a few days to accomplish his teaching for the second half year.
        In addition, Mr. Xi who was in charge of Chinese teachers in SHNU detailed the plan of recruitment in this May as well as the requirements for applicants.
