SHNU: Les Mitchell, professor of Institute of Art and Design (IAD) of University of Edinburgh, became a guest of the 2008 Xuesihu Lake Overseas Master’s Forum and delivered a lecture entitled “The Contemporary Art Design of Edinburgh and the Trend of Future Art Design of the U.K. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei extended a warm welcome to the guest and presented him a souvenir of the Forum. Professor Mitchell displayed his art works and introduced the setting of the specialties in IAD, In addition, he expounded the education concept of the institute. It is reported that the College of Fine Arts of SHNU is likely to conduct further cooperation with SHNU in terms of exchange programs of teachers and students from both universities.
