SHNU: On October 13, a delegation consisting of university presidents of Taiwan paid a visit to SHNU. The guests received a warm welcome from SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei. Apart from their communication on the first Cross-Strait forum on higher education, the two sides exchanged their views on the education systems and university-running concepts. Lu introduced SHNU to the visitors and showed the willingness to cooperate with universities in Taiwan. The visitors said that there was a lot in common in higher education between Taiwan and the mainland and the two sides should work together to strengthen communication and deepen mutual understanding. After the meeting, the guests walked around the campus and visited the university museum and spoke highly of the university environment. (Edited by Jessica) |
