SHNU: On October 14, the ceremony for the renewal of 2008 Kawai Scholarship was held in the College of Women’s Culture of SHNU. SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei attended the ceremony and signed the agreement on behalf of President Li Jin with the Japanese representative. Established by the Japan GE Company in 2001, the Kawai Scholarship was designed to encourage women to pursue higher education and have their own career. SHNU began to be sponsored by the scholarship in 2004 and till now over 200 SHNU students have received funds. (Edited by Jessica) |
