The opening ceremony of SACST (Sino-Australian Center of Sustained Tourism) was held in SHNU College of Tourism. Roy Ballantyne, Head of College of Tourism of Queensland University, also SHNU Guest Professor, attended the conferring ceremony.
SACST aims at bolstering and coordinating the comparative study of Sino-Australian Tourism, strengthening tourism education, connections and cooperation of tourism research, offering academic exchange visits for bilateral teachers and research staff, providing a platform for industrialist, researchers and policy-makers to compare notes, and organizing training programs etc. (Trans.
