On October 7th, a forum themed Arts —— Ode to City，Pageant of Life was held in SHNU, cosponsored by Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and Shanghai International Arts Festival Committee. Chen Shengyuan, Vice Secretary General of Shanghai International Arts Festival Committee, CEO of Shanghai International Arts Festival Center, and SHNU alumni, held the floor as the chief speaker.
Chen briefed on the growth of Shanghai International Arts Festival over its past 10 years, and revealed some unknown stories about how the festival can be established as a landmark for China’s foreign cultural exchanges. Now as one of the most outstanding arts festivals throughout the world, Shanghai International Arts Festival incorporates 6 sections, including repertoire show, audience-oriented cultural activities, exhibitions, trade fairs, academic forums and sub-festivals.
