SHNU: On October 7, the 21st Respect-for-the Aged Day (September 9 on the lunar calendar in China) was celebrated in the eastern auditorium of SHNU. SHNU authorities and the retired staff attended the celebration. On behalf of the university, SHNU President Li Jin extended his best regards to the retired staff and shared ideas with them on such topics as nation and home, life and living, etc. Li said the university would do its utmost to better the life of the aged.
