27 Sep 2008

21:33 of September 25th shall be recorded as the exact successful launching time of Shenzhou VII Spacecraft. In the meantime, SHNU teachers and students were seized with joy and pride, giving vent to their reverence to space heroes in their own ways.
Many students wrote on SNNU Campus BBS to air their feelings and thoughts. Some said that the success of Beijing Olympics and manned spacecraft made us ever more confident of our national prosperity. Gu Meikang, Professor of SHNU College of Mathematics and Science, who initiated related research as early as the year 1996, was quoted as saying that every time China launches a spacecraft it means a leap forward in technological advances. He was convinced that this success shall be within reasonable expectations. Now, professor Gu has plunged himself into the work of Shenzhou Ⅷ Plan.
