On the night of September 24th, a party was held for teachers from Dujiangyan city of Sichuan Province, themed Linking with Future. It was attended by some SHNU students and 40 Dujiangyan teachers who had just completed their study tour in SHNU College of Education. The students staged aerobics shows, and invited Sichuan teachers to join in. Games were played, local dialects were taught, and psychological distance was narrowed. A chorus Grateful Mind wound up the party by way of gestures and voices, which touched everyone present there. It is noted that over 50 essays have been collected from Sichuan teachers who jotted down their words about staying in Shanghai, ranging from their thoughts of Shanghai, teaching introspection, classic adages of professors, and future aspirations, etc. (Trans. by Rebecca)
