On September 25th, Yu Nuqin, a well-known analytical chemist and member of Chinese Academy of Science visited SHNU and delivered a lecture on analytical chemistry. Yu expounds on the development of electro-chemical sensor and the history of Chinese analytical chemistry, and shares his pleasure in tackling the mysteries of chemistry with the students. He mainly studies chemometrics, sensors and organic analytic reagents. He is now a consulting editor of Journal of Chemometrics, a core journal of International Metrology Society, and Analytical Chimica Acta etc. (Trans. by Rebecca)
