On invitation of Sino-German Ludwig Association of Friendship and Potsdam Society of Sino-German Cultural and Artistic Exchanges, SHNU Choreography Troupe tripped to Potsdam in late July this year, to attend the arts festival, also in aim of more publicity on 2010 Shanghai Expo.
The troupe had dazzling Chinese folk dances in the backdrop of painting works of Chinese artists of abstract school. A subsequent stage show was done in Chinese Embassy in Germany, and the one-hour-long performance was full of thunderous applauses reigning in the hall. In all, 5 roundabout performances were practised in the three cities of Berlin, Potsdam and Rathenau in Germany. (Trans. by Rebecca) |
