August 27th witnessed 4 SHNU Olympics volunteers returned to Shanghai, who had brought their 24-day-long service into a complete success. The four volunteers were interviewed by such media as Xinmin Evening News and Five Star Sports after their return to Shanghai. The term of service lasted almost one month, starting from July 24th. With 10 to 12 hours of strenuous work every day, these volunteers were mainly in charge of the normal operation of the games, and spectators service as well.
It is also noted that another SHNU volunteer group for Paralympics are brushing up for their service in Beijing at the end of August. (Trans. by Rebecca) |
