SHNU: On August 12, SHNU leaders including Zhou Honggang, Li Jin and Jiang Weiyi went on a special trip to Shanghai Indoor Stadium—the main area of the Olympic football competitions and extended regards to SHNU volunteers there. They went to places where the volunteers were working, shook hands with them, inquired about their work, and gave them gifts to show the concern of the university. Qiu Liping, Head of the Department of the Volunteers’ Work of Shanghai Youth League Committee, introduced the work of SHNU volunteers and spoke highly of their efforts. It was reported that the 200 odd SHNU volunteers started to work in Shanghai Stadium in the beginning of July and had been serving in such positions as security inspection, news center, registration center, etc. （Edited by Jessica） |
