On Sept. 9th, SHNU Choreography Troupe of 28 members departed for a visiting show tour in White Russia, Finland and Germany, with a planned 14 shows in a month. General Art Director of Shanghai Administration of Culture, Radio, Film and Television, and leaders from Shanghai Association for International Exchange, and Overseas Center of Chinese Culture Promotion Society paid a visit to SHNU and censored the shows with SHNU Vice President Lu Jianfei.
Founded in 1998, SHNU Choreography Troupe is recognized as the first university students’ choreography troupe throughout Shanghai. With a record of nearly 200 shows, it has been invited to attend Biennale de la Danse in Lyon, and Busan International Folk Arts Festival. (Edited by Rebecca) |
