SHNU Initiation Ceremony of Social Practice during Summer Vacation for University Students was kicked off on July 9th, and approximately 8 thousand university students in Shanghai have been involved in this program. SHNU Vice Party Secretary Jiang Weiyi and other SHNU department heads attended the ceremony.
Themed on Scientific Development for Harmonious Society, this year’s program features on free education service in rural areas, rainbow volunteer service, and other aptitude and horizon broadening activities with the aim of acquiring an international view. These students shall find their footprints across the provinces of Yunan, Sichuan, Anhui, Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Guizhou and Shanxi, etc. Moreover, a volunteer seminar was held for better service in China’s rural west.
