On June 26th, opening ceremony of SHNU PE (physical education) Research Institute as well as report on university PE development was held, attended by SHNU Vice President Xiang Jiaxiang, honorary director of PE Institute, head of Sports, Health and Arts Office of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, etc. Xiang Jiaxiang made a speech of congratulations, and Cao Keqiang, Dean of College of Physical Education, introduced the development of PE disciplines of SHNU.
After the opening ceremony, two theme reports were made, titled respectively From Los Angeles to Beijing—Sports Values of Olympics, and University PE Development During 30 Years of Reform and Opening-up. (Trans. by Rebecca) |
