On June 24th, an International Symposium on Urban Culture and Life was convened in Shanghai Normal University, and was attended by Director of Development Research Center of Shanghai Municipal Government, Chairman of Urban Exchanges Foundation of New York, SHNU President Li Jin, and various experts from USA, ROK, Singapore, etc.
A discussion shall be held on a cultural comparison of Shanghai and New York, including aspects of education and literature. It aims at promoting bilateral academic and cultural flows, and study of urban culture, which may well result in prosperous development of the urban culture of Shanghai. (Tran. by Rebecca) |
