On June 23rd, SHNU President Lin Jin and Vice President Lu Jianfei met Dr. Terada, President of Japan Kyoto Education University (KEU), and Ms. Hamada, Vice Director of Japanese International Exchanges Committee. Both sides held talks in terms of the history and prospects of bilateral cooperation.
Li Jin was quoted as saying that over 100 teachers have been sent to KEU to further their education or to have academic visits there. During discussion, cooperation in science, technology, bilateral meetings and students’ internship opportunities have been probed. As a university featuring cultivating teachers in the culture-ambient city of Kyoto, KEU incorporates a comprehensive set of disciplines of education, including special courses designed for teacher training and postgraduate degree programs of education.
