SHNU: On June 10, SHNU Vice-President Lu Jianfei met a delegation from London South Bank University (LSBU) that was headed by Dr. Mike Wilkinson, Vice Chancellor of LSBU. Lu delivered a warm welcome to the guests on behalf of SHNU. The two sides made general introductions of their respective universities, and reached an agreement on three aspects: the exploration of the possibility of developing articulation agreements for bachelor’s and master’s programs at Environmental Engineering and in other subject areas, the cooperation in academic, administrative and curriculum affairs, and the staff exchange programs. Founded in 1892, LSBU has four faculties, namely, Arts and Human Sciences Business; Computing and Information Management Engineering; Science and The Built Environment; and Health and Social Care. Currently, 500 Chinese students are studying in LSBU, accounting for 20% of the total number of international students in the university. (Trans. by Jessica) |
