SHNU: From June 5 to 9, a French Dance Film Festival was held in SHNU. Lu Jianfei, Vice President of SHNU, and Patrick Bansard, official from Ministry of Culture of France, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches respectively. Also present were relevant staff from the French Consulate in Shanghai and leaders from Musical College, Financial College and International Exchange Division of SHNU. The festival also attracted many people outside SHNU. French Artists not only staged wonderful performances but also brought with them a great deal of dance films. During the festival, various forms of dance were shown, including modern French ballet, contemporary French dance, Poland modern Ballet, street dance, etc. These precious forms of art have increased people’s understanding of the history and the status quo of the French dance and helped SHNU students of dance majors to understand deeply the connotations of dancing. Impressed by the great passion of the audience, projection facilities and beautiful environment of SHNU, the French guests expressed their intention of further cooperation with SHNU.
